How to submit your music for review

NOTE: Submission does not guarantee a review. Due to the high volume of submissions and requests for review, better than 200 each month, it is impossible for to me to review everything, though I try to listen to everything. Currently, I'm only reviewing seven albums a week. Obviously, not everybody will make the cut.

Before submitting a request for review, please review What We Review and our Submission Guidelines below. Artists, publicists and labels may send a submission inquiry to:

Submission Guidelines (the fine print)

1)Submission does not guarantee a review. Due to the high volume of submissions and requests for review, better than 200 each month, it is impossible for to me to review everything, though I try to listen to everything. Currently, I'm only reviewing six to seven albums a week. Obviously, not everybody will make the cut.

2) When possible I prefer a physical CD for review. An Electronic Press Kit or digital download, including full album, art work, band photos, and one-sheet, will be accepted for review for artists/labels outside North America. I do not review streaming material.

3) Generally, I will not review material more than 30 days old from the time you are reading this. For instance, if today were November 1, 2016, I would accept requests for material released after October 1, 2016, but not before.

From the heart of America's "Rust Belt," Warren Ohio's Wretch returns with a new album, The Hunt. The origins of the band go back better than 30 years, but the most recent re-genesis began in 2003. Fraught with personnel changes along the way ... [ Read More ]

Coop Knows Best

What most people don't understand is that UFOs are on a cosmic tourist route. That's why they're always seen in Arizona, Scotland, and New Mexico. Another thing to consider is that all three of those destinations are good places to play golf. So there's possibly some connection between aliens and golf.

Why be boring? Have some fun. Rock shows should be like movies: I don't go to a movie hoping it'll change my life.
