FRED & MARY-ANN met each other for the first time at a bar in Nashville, TN on February 14, (Valentine’s Day) 1983. At the time, FRED was a singer/songwriter/guitarist playing backup with Billy Joe Shaver. Having come to Nashville in the early 1970s, nearly straight out of high school, he quickly fell in with Townes Van Zandt and the crowd of Texas songwriters who hung around Nashville at that time. These associations led to a lot of roadwork with too many country artists to name. (more…)

It has been a long time coming, but now the wait is finally over. In support of their latest release “Glorious Collision”, Swedish metallers EVERGREY have confirmed a North American tour for this fall. Support on the tour will come from Sabaton, Powerglove, Blackguard and The Absence. The tour kicks off with EVERGREY’s acoustic set at this year’s Prog Power Festival in Atlanta, GA on September 14th and runs through October 12th in Dallas, TX.
