July 16, 2012 – Nashville, TN — Coming off of a highly successful 2011 marked by the release of the critically acclaimed “Testimony 2” and an enthusiastically attended tour throughout the U.S., Mexico and Europe, Neal Morse could easily have justified going on a creative hiatus to catch his breath. UK progressive rock ensemble Galahad releases highly anticipated new CD ‘Battle Scars’

Galahad Battle Scars5/20/2012 – London, UK – ‘Battle Scars’ is the new studio album from established English progressive rock band Galahad just released on Avalon Records. The CD was recorded, engineered and mixed by Karl Groom (Threshold) at Thin Ice studios. ‘Battle Scars’, Galahad’s seventh studio album, shows the band evolving from their well received and critically acclaimed 2007 album ‘Empires Never Last’. ‘Battle Scars’ is the first of two new albums from Galahad scheduled for release this year. Dutch progressive rock band Knight Area on tour in the US in May

We are very pleased and proud to announce that for the first time the Dutch Prog Rock band Knight Area will be touring in the US for one week as of 6 May 2012!

Knight Area was founded in 2004 and has released 5 albums (by Laser’s Edge, US) so far and is highly recognized by the European and US press. Their music consists of ballads and rock songs and is inspired by Arena, Marillion, early Genesis, IQ and Dream Theater. (more…)

Prog rockers BangTower release new videos in support of forthcoming tour

Los Angeles, CA – Progressive rock/fusion ensemble BangTower, in association with Pig Light Show and Declassified Records, are releasing several new music video’s over the next four weeks in preparation for the forthcoming 2012 BangTower tour, currently being scheduled by Backstreet Booking of Cincinnati, OH. In addition to celebrated bassist Percy Jones, who is also known for his work with Brand X a band he formed along with Genesis legend Phil Collins, BangTower also features Grammy Award winning guitarist, engineer and producer Neil Citron. Completing this trio of master musicians is drum virtuoso Walter Garces, who also performs with ’60s psychedelic marvels The Electric Prunes and is celebrating a partnership of 25 years with Premier Percussion, Paiste Cymbals and Gongs, and Calato/Regal-Tip sticks as an endorsing artist.
