Evergrey announce North American tour in support of new album Glorious Collision

It has been a long time coming, but now the wait is finally over.  In support of their latest release “Glorious Collision”, Swedish metallers EVERGREY have confirmed a North American tour for this fall.  Support on the tour will come from Sabaton, Powerglove, Blackguard and The Absence.  The tour kicks off with EVERGREY’s acoustic set at this year’s Prog Power Festival in Atlanta, GA on September 14th and runs through October 12th in Dallas, TX.  A complete list of dates can be found below.  Tickets are on sale now through www.enterthevault.com (more…)

Brazil’s Almah to enter studio in May to record long awaited third album for Fall release

Almah band photoBrazilian metallers ALMAH led by the singer, composer and producer Edu Falaschi (also, Angra) enter the Norcal Studios in São Paulo on 2th of May to record the material for their long awaited 3rd album, the follow-up of successful Fragile Equality (2008). The line-up remains the same: Edu Falaschi – vocals, Felipe Andreoli – bass, Marcelo Barbosa – guitars, Paulo Schroeber – guitars, Marcelo Moreira – drums. The release of the album, as-yet-untitled, is planed for September 2011 worldwide. (more…)

Denmark’s Anubis Gate sign with Nightmare Records; new singer Henrik Fevre introduced
