A quite hilarious email conversation from the Dangerdog Music Review feedback files

Dangerdog Music Reviews gets quite a bit of feedback, mostly positive. But getting some positive feedback from your peers is infrequent. Recently, Brian McGowan, a writer for RevelationZ.com was kind enough to offer a professional compliment. We had a short dialogue via email that was quite funny, and I wish to share it with Dangerdog visitors. I hope Brian doesn’t mind. Actually, I think only those on my side will connect with this, but so what. It’s good for a laugh.

The BossHoss: a band of Germans playing American style country and western, a strange mixture

Put the BossHoss in the “truth is stranger than fiction” category. This a band of German musicians who cover top 40 hits in an American country-western style. They’ve done renditions of “Hot in Herre” by Nelly, “Toxic” by Britney Spears and “Hey Ya!” by Outkast. Weird. Lately, they recorded some original material for their Low Voltage album which includes styles from country to western to rockabilly. (more…)
